WHAT TRAINING DO YOU OFFER?

We offer developmental grass roots athletic training that’s mapped to the sport’s 3 annual seasons: Spring/Summer Outdoor Track and Field, Fall Cross Country (XC), and Winter Indoor Track and Field, with a focus on Elementary and High School students.

WHY YRRC?

York Region Runners Club, like many other running clubs or groups can offer a number of benefits to someone interested in learning to run the right way. Please check out our “WHY YRRC?” page for a few things to consider when choosing a running club.

WHERE DO YOU TRAIN?

The sport facilities that we use depend on which of the three annual seasons we are training for. Please see our “SEASONS and LOCATIONS” page for details.

WHAT AGES DO YOU ACCEPT?

The minimum age for membership is 8 years old. However, under certain conditions a 7-year-old athlete will be considered for membership into the club. Please contact us at info@yrrc.ca regarding eligibility.

CAN I DO A TRIAL TO TRY OUT THE CLUB?

Yes, however, trials are limited to one trial per athlete per season. To request a trial please email Fred Robbins, our Club Director at info@yrrc.ca to request & schedule a trial.

WHAT DO YOU CHARGE and HOW CAN I GET MORE INFORMATION ABOUT REGISTERING?

Athletes must register for each season that they’re interested in. For more information, and to register for the current season, please go to our “MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION” page.
