PHOTO SUBMISSION PROCESS
for CLUB MEMBERS
Step 1 – Review “YRRC Photography Release Waiver” below and if in agreement continue to Step 2.
Step 2 – Complete “Photo Submission” form while noting:
- Form must be completed by parent or legal guardian if athlete identified in photo is less than eighteen (18) years of age.
- Each form can include up to three YRRC athletes.
- “Athlete Date of Birth” will be used to determine age group if none is selected when Athlete #2 and #3 are provided. Age groups will vary based on the Sport Governing Body sanctioning the meet.
- One photo per submission – upload photo by clicking “Choose File” button near bottom of form. Files must be GIF, PNG or JPG file format and cannot exceed 3Mb.
- Complete submission by selecting box at bottom of form indicating agreement with “Photography Release Waiver“, entering Captcha code and clicking “Submit Photo” button.
YRRC PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE WAIVER
By submitting the “Photo Submission” form you give York Region Runners Club (YRRC) authorization to publish the photograph provided of yourself and/or under-aged minor children identified and their names for use on yrrc.ca website and in all forms of media and in all manner – including electronic media and/or composite representations, for advertising, trade, or any lawful purposes and waive any right to inspect or approve written copy or finished product.
You release YRRC from any expectation of confidentiality for undersigned minor children and yourself, and attest that you are the parent or legal guardian of children identified and that you have the authority to authorize YRRC to use the photograph and names provided. You acknowledge that since participation in all materials & websites produced by YRRC is voluntary, neither the minor children nor you will receive financial compensation, and you further agree that you have no rights of ownership whatsoever. You release YRRC, and its contractors & volunteers from liability for any claims by you or any third party in connection with the photograph and information provided in “Photo Submission” form.
